Sono state rese note ieri le nomination agli Oscar 2009 (relative, s'intende, a film usciti nelle sale americane nel 2008). Delusione per l'Italia, con l'esclusione, già preannunciata, di Gomorra dalla cinquina dei film stranieri. Nessun italiano tra i candidati, non possiamo che fare il tifo per Il cavaliere oscuro e Wall-E, candidati a molte statuette.

L'Oscar come miglior film d'animazione va, com'era prevedibile, all'ottimo Wall-E, mentre il giapponese Okuribito si aggiudica il premio come miglior film straniero. Tra gli attori, incoronati Sean Penn (Milk) e Kate Winslet (The reader) come protagonisti, Heath Ledger (Il cavaliere oscuro, mai premio fu più triste) e Penelope Cruz (Vicky Cristina Barcelona) tra i non protagonisti.

Non sono riuscito a scoprire chi ha vinto quest'anno l'Oscar alla carriera... qualcuno lo sa per caso? Non è Jerry Lewis, lui mi risulta che abbia vinto il Thalberg per motivi umanitari.
