Academy Award-winning actress and all-around Pretty Woman Julia Roberts is pregnant with twins, according to published reports that were confirmed by her spokeswoman Tuesday morning. The 36 year-old actress, who is married to cameraman Daniel Moder, is expected to give birth early next year. People magazine broke the news on its Web site Monday morning, and other publications quickly followed suit with various details; Us Weekly said that Roberts is about nine weeks along, while the Star dabbled in some genetic predetermination by citing "unidentified sources" that the twins were a boy and a girl. Spokeswoman Marcy Engelman did state that twins run in Roberts' family, saying that Roberts' great-grandmother and a pair of cousins are twins. Roberts is currently set to fly to Rome next week to begin filming on Ocean's Twelve opposite George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Catherine Zeta-Jones. --Prepared by IMDb staff

Ho scovato una notizia su Colin Farrell che credo colpirà molto nel profondo le sue fan. Però mi rifiuto di tradurla.

The Phone Booth hunk disrobed for scenes in upcoming drama A Home at the End of the World, but after seeing the stunned reaction of viewers at a recent screening, chiefs decided to chop the naughty images. And the news has been greeted with fury by self-confessed Romeo Farrell, who has demanded the scenes must be included in the DVD release of the film. A source tells British newspaper the Sun, "All you could hear were gasps when Colin appeared in his full frontal pose. The women were over-excited and the men looked really uncomfortable. It was such a sight it made it difficult to concentrate on the plot, so the decision was made to get rid of it." Even director Michael Mayer admits, "It was distracting." In the film, Farrell plays a bisexual man caught in a love triangle.

In America stanno girando una nuova versione della storia di Pocahontas, con attori in carne ed ossa. Colin Farrell sarà John Smith, l'esploratore inglese che s'innamorerà dell'indiana figlia di un capotribù, mentre il ruolo della protagonista è andato ad un'esordiente attrice hawaiana, Q'Orianka Kilcher. Regista del film, intitolato The new world, è il Terrence Malick de La sottile linea rossa. Tuttavia, i produttori hanno imposto dei pesanti tagli dopo aver visto le scene d'amore tra i due attori girate dal regista; questo per via della tenera età della Kilcher: solo 14 anni (immagino però che avrà molto di che vantarsi con le sue amiche e coetanee la giovincella ).

Sapevo di questo fatto; accadde poco dopo la morte di Aaliyah (che avrebbe dovuto interpretare Niobe nei due sequel di Matrix), per cui alcuni misero in giro la voce di una "maledizione di Matrix".
Passando a notizie più liete, Britney Spears ha annunciato ufficilamente di essere incinta. Ancora da rivelare è il sesso del nascituro (speriamo solo che non gli dia un nome assurdo... ).

Due nuove coppie nel mondo hollywoodiano: Tom Cruise+Katie Holmes e Brad Pitt+Gwyneth Paltrow. La prima coppia si è fatta vedere in giro per Roma, dove Tom Cruise ha incontrato il presidente Ciampi e poi ha presenziato alla cerimonia di consegna dei David di Donatello. La seconda è stata fotografata "in azione" alle Antille; purtroppo non posso linkare le foto che ho trovato perché sono assolutamente al di là di ciò che è consentito linkare in questo forum.
