| Academy Award-winning actress and all-around Pretty Woman Julia Roberts is pregnant with twins, according to published reports that were confirmed by her spokeswoman Tuesday morning. The 36 year-old actress, who is married to cameraman Daniel Moder, is expected to give birth early next year. People magazine broke the news on its Web site Monday morning, and other publications quickly followed suit with various details; Us Weekly said that Roberts is about nine weeks along, while the Star dabbled in some genetic predetermination by citing "unidentified sources" that the twins were a boy and a girl. Spokeswoman Marcy Engelman did state that twins run in Roberts' family, saying that Roberts' great-grandmother and a pair of cousins are twins.
